This site is run by Rommy Kushner for Sunnyvale School Board 2026, the campaign committee of Rommy Kushner, candidate for Sunnyvale School District Board of Education, Trustee Area 3. To reach us about privacy, email rommy4sunnyvale@gmail.com or use our contact page.
Information you give us. When you use a form on this site, we receive what you type into it:
Text messages. If you opt in to texts, we keep your phone number and a record of when and how you agreed, along with your opt-out requests, replies, the content of our messages, and delivery status. See our SMS Privacy Policy.
Voter records. We also use voter registration information that California law allows candidates to obtain from county elections offices for election purposes. It may include phone numbers some voters gave when they registered. We use it only to contact voters about the election.
Donations. Donations are processed by Stripe, not on this site. Stripe collects your payment details and the contributor information that campaign finance law requires (such as your name, address, occupation, and employer). We do not receive or store your card number.
Website usage. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your browser and device type, and how you reached the site.
Spam protection. Some forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. It is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
We do not sell the personal information you submit through this site. The services that help us run it do handle some of your information: Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions, Google provides analytics and reCAPTCHA, Stripe processes donations, and a texting service delivers our text messages. Each has its own privacy policy; here are links for Netlify, Google, and Stripe.
We do not share or sell mobile information, including phone numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The messaging vendors and wireless carriers we use act only as service providers that send messages, keep consent records, and honor opt-outs for us. They may not use mobile information for their own marketing.
California law requires campaign committees to publicly report certain information about contributors, such as name, address, occupation, and employer. We may also share information when the law requires it.
We keep the information you give us for as long as we need it to run the campaign and meet legal record-keeping requirements. Some records, such as contribution records, must be kept for the period the law requires. You can ask us to delete other information sooner (see below).
We use reputable service providers and secure (HTTPS) connections, and we limit access to people on the campaign team who need it. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Our text program is not directed to anyone under 18.
This site links to other websites and services, including Facebook, Instagram, and county elections pages. They have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
We may update this page from time to time. If you have a question about it, please email rommy4sunnyvale@gmail.com or contact us.
